Directions to the Mountaineer's Kitsap Cabin
3000 Seabeck Highway NW, Bremerton
The Kitsap Mountaineers shares the use of the Mountaineers Foundation Kitsap Cabin Property
with the Kitsap Players who utilize the property for the Forest Theater.
From the North via Kingston, Bainbridge Is., or Poulsbo: Proceed south on Highway 3, exiting at Chico Way
(before the Bremerton exits). Turn right onto Chico Way. After 1/2 mile, turn right on Northlake Way
(first major road on right). Continue 1/3 mile, just past the the Horse and Cow,
turn right at the triangle automotive shop. Bear right at the stop sign onto Seabeck Highway. After crossing the railroad
tracks, go 7/10 mile and you will see our large sign on the right. Another hundred feet down the road on the left you
will see the driveway with wooden placards denoting the entrance.

From the South via Bremerton or Tacoma: Proceed north on Highway 3 (via Highway 16 from Tacoma) past the Bremerton exits.
Take the Chico Way exit, turning left on Chico Way. After 1/2 mile, turn right on Northlake Way
(first major road on right). Continue 1/3 mile, just past the famous submarine sailor bar on the left, the Horse and Cow,
turn right at the triangle automotive shop. Bear right at the stop sign onto Seabeck Highway. After crossing
the railroad tracks, go 7/10 mile and you will see our large sign on the right. Another hundred feet down the
road on the left you will see the driveway with wooden placards denoting the entrance.
From the Seattle/Bremerton Ferry: Leaving the terminal, bear right onto Washington Ave., proceed for 4/10 mile,
turn left on 6th Street, which later becomes Kitsap Way. Follow Kitsap Way, turning right onto the
northbound entrance of Highway 3. Continue 2 1/2 miles to the Chico Way exit, turning left on Chico Way.
After 1/2 mile, turn right on Northlake Way (first major road on right). Continue 1/3 mile, just past the

The driveway to the property is on the left (west) side of the highway just before the long guardrail.
See photograph above. As you enter the driveway, stay to the left of the residence and it's garage. Continue down the
dirt road past a couple of satellite club buildings until you see Kitsap Cabin, home of the Kitsap Mountaineer Branch,
on your right.
