Kayak Committee Meetings: Next meeting on May 27, 2008
Our committee meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of every month in Silverdale at the Red Lobster, 3208 NW Randall Way. They start at 7:00 PM and are normally over by 8:30. These meetings are a great way to get work done, keep up to speed on what is going on, socialize and relax. Contact DeWayne Talley for more information at talleydr@wavecable.com.

Activities

Equivalency:
If you live west of Puget Sound, are a Mountaineer, and have been paddling for some time, you may want to consider equivalency in place of taking the Basic Course Training. You can contact Dan Montgomery at djmontg@msn.com for an application. You need to have taken a fundamental sea kayak course that teaches the basic skills, strokes, bracing, rescues, safety and clothing and have significant skills to demonstrate your abilities. There is a $20.00 processing fee.
